Secondary school attendance in Glasgow schools has increased since 2003/04. Attendance in Glasgow schools was lower than in other major Scottish Cities in the past and Scotland as a whole, however, since 2012/13, attendance in Glasgow has been higher than in Dundee. In 2018/19 the attendance rate in Glasgow schools was 90.6%, a very similar rate to that in Scotland overall.

Notes

Prior to 2007/08, S6 were excluded from the data for secondary schools. Since the 2010/11 publication the Scottish Government now only publishes data on attendance once every two years.
