19% of households with dependent children in Glasgow reported they don’t manage well financially.  This figure was lower than in Dundee (23%), but higher than in Aberdeen (10%), Edinburgh (11%) or the Scottish average (12%) .

Notes

The definition of dependent children used in the Scottish Household Survey is children aged 0-15 years and children of 16-18 years who are in full time education.

These data come from the Scottish Household Survey. They have not been updated for 2020, since the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic meant a change in methods for the survey. The results are therefore not comparable with previous years. More details on these changes can be found on the SHS site. This page will be updated when data for 2021 are available.
