Adults eating five or more portions of fruit or vegetables in the previous day by deprivation
Data for Greater Glasgow and Clyde as a whole shows marked variation in fruit and vegetable consumption by area deprivation quintiles. The proportion of adults eating the recommended amounts of fruit and vegetable in the two least deprived quintiles was almost twice that in the most deprived quintile.

These figures are self-reported levels of fruit and vegetable consumption in the previous day.

The information shown above is based on a survey sample, i.e. based on only a subset of people in each area. As with all analysis from survey data, there is a degree of uncertainty around how estimates from a subset of people accurately reflect the data from all individuals.
