In 2018, slightly more men were regular smokers in Glasgow (23%) than women (20%). Men were more likely to be smokers than women in all other Scottish cities except for Dundee (27% for females compared to 22% for males).

In 2018, slightly more men were regular smokers in Glasgow (23%) than women (20%). Men were more likely to be smokers than women in all other Glasgow city region local authorities except for East Dunbartonshire (8% for females compared to 7% for males), which all had the lowest adult smoking rates across the region.
