In 2015 Glasgow had the third lowest percentage of households with access to a bank or building society account among the Glasgow and Clyde Valley local authorities at 91%, with both East Dunbartonshire (90%) and North Lanarkshire (89%) being lower. West Dunbartonshire and East Renfrewshire had the highest rates of access to a bank or building society account at 97%.
