Notes

It is difficult to make accurate comparisons between Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow over time due to changes to constituency boundaries, so these comparisons should be treated with caution.

As of 2015:

Glasgow comprises seven constituencies: Glasgow Central, Glasgow East, Glasgow North, Glasgow North East, Glasgow North West, Glasgow South and Glasgow South West

Liverpool comprises five constituencies: Liverpool Riverside, Liverpool Walton, Liverpool Wavertree, Liverpool West Derby and Garston & Halewood

Manchester comprises five constituencies: Manchester Central, Manchester Gorton, Manchester Withington, Blackley & Broughton and Wythenshawe & Sale East
