Children's Indicators

A separate set of children's indicators were created in 2011. The indicators cover seven domains: health, wellbeing, poverty, safety, lifestyle, learning and population.

The data used to create the indicators come from a range of administrative and survey sources. As with the main set of indicators, the aim in presenting the children's indicators has been to:

  • show trends
  • show inequality, or difference, within the city
  • (where possible) make comparisons to other comparator UK cities and to European cities

To access the children's indicators, go to the home page and click on the children's indicator tab.
