Primary school attendance rates vary across the local authorities in the Glasgow City Region. Glasgow City Council has the lowest levels of attendance while East Renfrewshire and East Dunbartonshire have the highest levels of attendance. Attendance in all local authorities in the region has decreased slightly since 2014/15.

Since the 2010/11 publication the Scottish Government now only publishes data on attendance once every two years.
