In both Glasgow and Scotland, participation in sport is greatly reduced in those with a long term physical/mental health condition. In Glasgow, just under a third (32%) of those with a long term condition that causes major reduced daily capacity took part in any sport over the 4 week period, whereas 8 out of ten without a long term physical/mental health condition took part in sport over the same period.
Notes on data
It should be noted that many of the apparent differences in the figures between Glasgow and Scotland may not be significant due to the relatively small sample sizes.
