Films

Our animated film, Exploring Understanding Glasgow, has been created to explain what can be found on the Understanding Glasgow website and to encourage people to explore this website for themselves.

In the Animating Assets digital stories, people in Barmulloch and Balornock and people in Milton used film to capture their experiences of what is different about working in an asset-based way and how this developed in their local areas.

We also have films that describe attitudes towards travel, highlight views on health issues in the city and a series of films in which Glaswegians tell their stories in their own words.

Miniature Glasgow is a slightly different type of film which uses the Miniature Earth concept, of a community of 100 people, to provide a simple factual narrative about the city covering issues such as demography, diversity, health inequality, educations and work.

The film content of this section will grow over time as we add more of our own films and signpost to films made by other organisations.
