Influencing decisions in selected Scottish cities
In 2023, 17.9% of adults in Glasgow felt they could influence decisions in their local authority. This has dropped from 20% in 2018. Edinburgh had the highest proportion of residents believing they can influence local decisions in 2023, at 22.4% while Aberdeen had a considerably lower figure at just 8.5%.
