Trend in school leaver destinations for Glasgow

Over the last 10 years, the proportion of school leavers from Glasgow’s publicly funded secondary schools entering positive destinations has increased. The percentage of leavers going into Higher Education had risen to 41.4% in 2019/20, a rise of over eleven percentage points from a decade ago.  The proportion of school leavers going onto employment decreased sharply in 2019/20 to 10.7%.
