Children in households with financial difficulties

18% of households with dependent children in Glasgow reported they don’t manage well, have some difficulties, or are in deep financial trouble.  This figure was higher than in Edinburgh (8%), Aberdeen (10%), and Dundee (17%). 


The definition of dependent children used in the Scottish Household Survey is children aged 0-15 years and children of 16-18 years who are in full time education.
