The number of children on the Child Protection Register in Glasgow on 31st July 2019, was far higher than in the other Glasgow City Region local authorities.

Glasgow had the highest percentage of children on its local authority Child Protection Register in the Glasgow City Region (0.41%). Glasgow, along with Inverclyde and East Dunbartonshire, were above the Scottish average. East Renfrewshire had the lowest percentage in the region.
