How the household is managing financially by local authority in Glasgow City Region, 2021

In Glasgow, in 2021, 64% of households reported that they were managing well financially. East Renfrewshire had the highest percentage of households who reported that they were managing well (71%) and Renfrewshire had the lowest percentage (54%)


The dates shown here mainly predate the cost of living crisis, and so it is not yet known what impact that will have had on people's responses to this survey question.

These data come from the Scottish Household Survey. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic meant a change in methods for the survey, and the results are therefore not comparable with previous years. More details on these changes can be found on the SHS site.
