There is a wide variation in access to a car by household between Glasgow and other local authorities in the region. Glasgow has the highest percentage of households without access to a car (46%) while East Dunbartonshire has the lowest percentage (14%). The percentage of households with no car is higher than the Scottish average in Glasgow, West Dunbartonshire, Inverclyde and South Lanarkshire.
