The chart above compares the number of violent offenders per 10,000 population within the Glasgow and Clyde Valley local authorities. Glasgow has the second highest number of violent offenders with 19 per 10,000 population recorded in 2011/12.This equates to 1,161 offenders residing within the Glasgow City area. West Dunbartonshire is proportionally the highest with 192 violent offenders, 21 per 10,000 population.
