Glasgow has the largest percentage of non-white ethnic groups (19%) of all the selected Scottish cities. The largest non-white ethnic groups vary by city: the largest is Pakistani in Glasgow (5%) and Dundee (2%), African in Aberdeen (4%), and Chinese in Edinburgh (3%).

Edinburgh has the largest percentage of people from non-Scottish white ethnic groups of all the selected Scottish cities (27%). Edinburgh has the largest percentage recorded as ‘Other White British’ (excluding Scottish) (14%) while Glasgow has the smallest (6%).
