The rate of young adults aged 16-19 years old not in employment, education or training was higher in the majority of Glasgow and Clyde Valley local authorities than Scotland throughout the period (2003-2014), but has been reducing in recent years.

Notes

These estimates are based on data from a School Leavers Destinations publication and the Department for Work and Pensions. The combination of these sources is likely to underestimate the number of 16-19 year olds not in employment, education or training by approximately 20-25%. Please see the Scottish Government report that was the source of these estimates for further information.
