This page summarises voter turnout in local council elections in Glasgow in 2007, 2012, 2017 and 2022.

In the 2022 local government elections voter turnout in Glasgow was 38.4%, which was slightly lower than in the previous council elections of 2017. There were notable differences in turnout by ward. In Victoria Park 50% of the electorate voted and in Pollokshields 48% voted, while in Anderston City and Yorkhill only 28% of the eletorate voted.

In the 2017 local government elections, overall voter turnout in Glasgow was 39%, which was approximately seven percentage points higher than in the previous council elections in 2012. There were notable differences in turnout by ward. In Pollokshields, Partick East and Victoria Park 49% of the electorate voted, while in North East only 29% of residents who were eligible to vote did vote.

In the 2012 local government elections, overall voter turnout in Glasgow was 33%, a reduction of 11 percentage points from the 2007 election turnout, which was 44%.
There were notable differences in voter turnout by ward. In Pollokshields ward 43% of the electorate voted, while in the Anderston/City ward only 24% of those eligible to vote did so.

In the 2007 local government elections, the overall voter turnout in Glasgow was 44%. However, there were notable differences in turnout by ward. In Pollokshields ward 57% of the electorate voted, while in Anderston/City only 34% of residents eligible to vote did vote.
