Glasgow and Clyde Valley

Among 13-year old pupils in Glasgow, 21% of girls and 28% of boys reported that they have ever had an alcoholic drink. These proportions are lower than those in most of the other local authorities in the Glasgow and Clyde Valley area, though they are higher than in East Dunbartonshire.

Among 15-year old pupils in Glasgow, 61% of girls and 57% of boys reported that they have ever had an alcoholic drink. These proportions are lower than those in most of the other local authorities in the Glasgow and Clyde Valley area, and very similar to those in East renfrewshire.
