Household trends for Glasgow City Region local authoritiesclick to expand
The number of households has increased in every local authority in the Glasgow City Region in the last two decades. In Glasgow, household numbers have risen by more than 26,000 (10%) since 2001, while South Lanarkshire had the largest proportionate increase in households over this period of 18%.
Notes
For Glasgow City an adjustment has been made to remove additional student halls of residence from the household count. This affects 2012 to 2021.
