Access to a bank account, selected Scottish cities
In 2015, there were a lower percentage of households with access to a bank or building society account in Glasgow (91%) compared with other Scottish cities such as Aberdeen (97%), Edinburgh (96%) and Dundee (95%). There has been improvement in the rate of households with access to a bank or building society account in Glasgow over time, however, which was only 83% in 2011.
